i’ve never tried yoga before, which class should I try?
Vinyasa flow level 1, Yin yoga, Restorative yoga are all excellent starting points for the new yogi. Make sure you tell the teacher of any injuries or considerations they should take into account before the class.
what should I bring to class?
All the equipment is provided at the studio but feel free to bring your favourite mat and roll it out. Wear some comfortable clothing and bring your water bottle for hydration.
is there parking?
There is unlimited parking at the back of the studio on Henry Street, 2 hour parking at View Street and 1 hour street parking on Highett Road.
when should I arrive to class?
Arriving 10-15 minutes prior to class will give you plenty of time to get grounded and check in at reception. For security purposes the front door will be locked 15 minutes after the class has commenced.
what if I am injured?
Our teachers are qualified to modify classes. Please have a chat to your teacher about your injury or specific needs and enjoy your practice safely with modifications.
what if I am pregnant?
Keeping up your yoga practice during pregnancy is a great idea and modifications can be offered. If you are new to yoga and would like to try a class, we recommend taking the restorative yoga class or gentle zen flow. Beginning any exercise when pregnant should be done under the guidance of your health practitioner.
